FEES.
$ 19.
The number and qualifications of teachers in each
school shall be subject to the approval of the Director of
Education both on the introduction of this Code and
periodically thereafter.
§ 20.
(i) In respect of promises not owned by the school
authorities the expenditure may include the rent actually paid
subject to the approval of the Director of Education after
consultation with the Government Assessor.
(ii) In respect of premises owned by the school
authorities the expenditure may include a sum not excoeding
22% of the capital value subject to the approval of the
Director of Education after consultation with the Government
Assessor.
§ 21. The ordinary tuition school fees to be charged in
each school shall be determined by the school managers subject
to the approval of the Director of Education.
ACCOUNTS. § 22. Each school manager shall render quarterly to the
Director of Education a statement of income and expenditure
in an approved form.
§ 23. The income of a school including the Government
subsidy shall be applied solely to the purposes of the school.

The Director shall report the school as inefficient or
unnecessary, and state specifically the grounds of his
judgment, and shall communicate the report to the Correspondent and give formal warning to him that the
subsidy may be withheld or reduced, if the Director
again reports the school as inefficient or unnecessary.
